Human emotions have started to show signs of a disconnect between interactions, that over time has generationally changed. Research tells us that Millennials are known to be even more disconnected with their own emotions and social expectations such as marriage, parenthood, religion and political party affiliation. The explosion and popularity of social media has been tagged as the source of high cases of depression in teens and young adults, eventually transitioning into adulthood. Thus, creating a barrier between human interaction and technology through social media norms. Producing this work of images is an installation form a life size printing of a male and female portraying the disconnected limbs and therefore implicating each emotion albeit positive or negative. The ribbons on the human body create an anxious feeling of overwhelming emotions.
